Mallard

Ducks are waterfowl and a familiar sight in parks, beaches, and lakes. The male displays a brilliantly iridescent green head, making it easily distinguishable from the female. Ducks are omnivores and readily eat bread that people feed them. In the wild, they feed on aquatic invertebrates found on the water's surface and plants they find both underwater and on land.
