About the Design: Multiholk White and Blue Cottage

Multiholk White and Blue Cottage's design draws inspiration from the Scandinavian coastline.

Scandinavia is famous for its long coastlines, where many tourists go in the summer. Some houses are white with blue corners and situated close to the sea. The houses stand close together on cliffs, forming small picturesque villages.

A boathouse is a small building where people used to store fishing gear. Historically, a boathouse was a small building for storing fishing gear. Over time, they have grown larger, and their use has expanded to include sleeping spaces and other uses.

A Nest for Small Birds

In close collaboration with ornithological experts, we crafted the Multiholk to provide an optimal nesting habitat for small garden birds, including sparrows and tits. Its internal climbing grooves guide fledglings towards the exit hole, a crucial step in their maiden flight. Additionally, strategically positioned ventilation holes maintain a comfortable nest temperature during hot summer days.

Mount the Multiholk at least 150 centimetres above the ground to protect the birds.

Feed Garden Birds the Right Way

Creating an ideal bird feeder involves prioritising good hygiene. Open platform feeders pose a risk as diseases can spread through droppings that contaminate the food. Our feeders address this by preventing birds from sitting directly in the food, ensuring their health. The design also protects the food from the elements, maintaining freshness. For a serene dining experience, the Multiholk offers adjustable perches-push them in so smaller birds can enjoy their meals undisturbed.

NOTE: to make your Multiholk last longer and keep its visitors healthy, we recommend you clean your Multiholk at least once a year. Wash it well with warm water and soap. Always use gloves when you handle used birdhouses or feeders.
