About the chihuahua
The Chihuahua is a companion dog whose origins can be traced to Mexico. Similar dogs have also been found as skeletons and depictions in ancient paintings in Egypt and Malta, so the origin is not entirely clear.
The breed is small but has a strong herding and ownership instinct. Offenders are given a good "bark" and the next moment they are required to cuddle with the dog. The Chihuahua is an active dog and wants to join in on everything from agility to hanging out on the sofa.
