About French Bulldogs
The French Bulldog was a society dog in the Paris neighbourhood in the years around 1880. The first breed club was also founded then. Its special appearance, with its blunt nose and powerful body, made it popular among artists.
The "Frenchie" is a rather small companion dog with a large and humorous personality. They are active and playful with lots of energy and are suitable as family dogs. They like to be with their humans everywhere they go.
