About the Red Squirrel

These agile creatures thrive in forests and parks, feeding on seeds, nuts, fungi and bark. They store food in autumn to survive the colder months. Active all year, they avoid bad weather and enjoy daytime naps. In spring, their playful chases through the trees mark the start of the mating season.
