About Chaffinch

The two most common birds in Sweden are the chaffinch and the willow warbler. The song of the chaffinch is a smattering 'tji-tji-tjitji-tju-tjitteria'. The chaffinch is distinguished by its short, conical beak. It builds a bowl-shaped nest using moss, lichen, feathers and animal hairs, usually in bushes or trees.
