Description
Spotted flycatchers appreciate a bird bath in the garden. It will frequent the bath a lot, not only to drink but to take a proper bath.
The nest is built on a ledge with a clear view. Will also inhabit special nesting boxes that may be placed in trees or on buildings.
Appearance
Somewhat larger than the other flycatchers with proportionally larger wings. The back is an even greyish brown except for the crown with its lengthways stripes.Similar bird
